Decided to reset the booth at Finders Keepers in Heath Ohio today. Below are the pics. Started out with the pile of rusty old "stuff" that I found at the JUNK-Shun when the snow melted! Love the way it all came together for a spring display. Makes me want to get outside and start digging:)

Busy week! Monday we opened a booth at the Berlin Village Antique Mall. HUGE 3 story barn full of antiques and vintage right in the center of Berlin, OH. It's gonna take a couple of trips to fill the space. Wednesday's weather was picture perfect so we decided to try out the Mt. Hope Flea & Farmer's Market. Fun market. Not very big but lots of nice people out and about enjoying the weather. Love to hear the horses as they clop down the road pulling the buggies and wagons...such a treat in this day and age:) Trailers and trailers FULL of hay to be auctioned and I've never saw so many brown eggs in one place! Bought a huge bunch of good bananas for 1.00! After we were all set up, Dave ran the flea market booth while I ran back into Berlin to do some work on the booths at Sol's, Village Antique Mall and Schrock's Amish Farm Antique Mall. Tomorrow I'm heading to the Kidron market while Dave stays behind to meet up with some customers at the JUNK-Shun. A few pics below of the market and booth spaces. It's been fun working on displays at the booths!
Great auction on Saturday night. Found the coolest items. Old brass gauges, 2 rusty old metal wheels, slated crates, red and cream household scales, solid metal architectural accent pieces and several boxes of smalls. Not sure what the gauges were used for but one has a glass door on front! The three of them would make an interesting wall grouping or table vignette. Posted some of the pics below. Check out Craigslist for some of the pieces I have listed as well as our Bonanzle booth. Links to both on our "LINKS" page.
So excited! Today we opened a Dresden JUNK-Shun Annex...a booth at Sol's in Berlin!! We are in the main building, first floor, north corner. Booth is set in beautiful shades of blue (from aqua to robin's egg) and cream (from ecru to pearl).
Here is a sampling of the items and pricing: White vanity/desk $45.00, Shelving unit (actually an old office sorter turned on it's side) $15.00, Chippy painted old step stool ladder $15.00, Antique Pantaloons with button sides $45.00 and wonderfully rusted working vintage scale $15.00. LOTS of smalls including linens, books, ironstone, memory jars and chalk ware...priced from $1.00 - $20.00. Be sure to look for us the next time you are in Amish Country for the day. Our daughter, Carrie, has the bow and tutu booth in the same area...just as you come in the door! Posting some pictures of our booth below... |
