Back in the 70's insulators seem to be the thing to collect. However...couldn't give them away in the 90's:) BUT...lately we've not been able to keep them in stock at the Dresden JUNK-Shun Warehouse. They're flying out the door (a good thing). Made me wonder what people were doing with them. Good 'ol Google came through with photos of how others are reusing these beautiful and unusual pieces of glass.
some are making lanterns...
others are repurposing into cool lighting...
adding an unusual touch to a sparkling mantel decor...
nesting them inside clay pots to use as romantic porch candles ...
topping a handy garden hose guide...
So when we're out and about we'll be keeping our eyes peeled to replenish our stash for these "no longer needed" but still useful gems!
