We hit the best auction yesterday...an old home built in the mid 1800's with a HUGE barn loaded with LOTS of great stuff! Had the best time until the auctioneer told us to be cautious as they found LOTS of black snakes in the barn when they were setting up for the auction:( I have a huge snake phobia! Spiders and bugs don't bother me but snakes give me the creeps! That sure put a damper on poking around in the barn... but it didn't stop us from buying 5 truckloads of goodies:) Picked up one load today...picking the rest up tomorrow when the weather cools down. Here are a few pics of today's truck load.

Dave says he's buying me a pair of steel toed shoes. Today I was trying to clear off a sewing machine cabinet that some new customers had stopped into buy. Bless their hearts...they drove all the way in from Bucyrus, OH. Boy, did I make an impression! Dropped a bunch of glass, not once but twice! Broke the glass and cut my toe...nothing serious...just embarrassing! They were so nice about it.
Last week a new customer purchased 4 old glass bottles...broke one as I was wrapping it for him! He was a good sport but I felt so bad when he said, "That WAS really a neat bottle!" Ran into an old friend who sells on ebay and he ask me about picking pottery and glass for him... he deals in high end stuff. Would love to but I know I'd go in the hole the way I break it:) Dave and I took the grandkids to see Toy Story 3 today. Amazing movie...a real tear jerker. Made me think of all the old toys we had laying around the JUNK-Shun that need a new home...but hopefully not the toddler room at the Day Care (LOL...you have to see the movie to understand that comment!). Barbie and Ken were priceless in this one! If you haven't gone yet...take the time...even did the 3D thing and the glasses have really improved!
