We couldn't decide...Country Living Fair or Springfield Extravaganza and the Vintage Market Place? A phone call from the grands made the decision for us! Springfield is halfway between Dresden and Indianapolis...who could resist a day out with their beautiful grandchildren? Catie Lynn and Miss Caroline helping me get a pic of this super sweet dress form wearing a paper skirt made from book pages. "Tag, you're it!" Grandson Cannon (blue shirt) found his own way to have some good old vintage fun at the market:) An old playground and some new friends are a great way to spend some down time... One of the most eye catching displays in the market...love the look of the orange with all the metal. Can't see in this pic...but the entire display was sitting on an industrial cart with orange handles. One of the best "beds made into a bench" I've ever saw! Attention to detail on this piece was amazing. What perfect way to display old frames! Don't these look yummy? LOL...they're bits and pieces of old lace wrapped around vintage clothespins...adorable! The "RELOVED" booth had some amazing displays...most in shades of gray. Dave pointed out this unusual mirror turned information board. Cork board and chalk board... Seeing this adorable paint job made me sad that I sold my old rusty yard bike this summer:( It would have been perfect to paint up... Amazing collection of head vases...made such a statement grouped together on the distressed dresser. Jackie spotted this and took me back to see it...thought it was really original. A fun day for all of us...including the littlest grandbaby "Claire" who just attended her first market and doesn't even know it yet:)!! LOL...she's due to make her debut in mid November.
